Finally! We get the next chapter.

Beth's relationship with her father is heartbreaking. I still say that he's mentally ill. Prison isn't the answer for people like him. It's so sad.

I'm happy to see that Sister was back in this chapter and is apparently doing well.

The situation near the lake was odd but perhaps you'll explain that later on.

Everything seems to be wrapping up nicely. I wonder if the end is near. If so, I'll be a little sad. This is one of my favorite MORFS stories.

Thanks again for another chapter.

Part 4 sounds like a dinner invitation: sizzling Daddy, roasted over an open fire. Yum, 'Pure' delight. Live by the fires of Hell and Damnation, die by the fires of Hell and Damnation!

As a plot point, though, I can see why Daddy had to abandon her, so that a polar bear could adopt her, so that she could learn about her polar bear nature.

I would very much like to see Beth's character develop further, and read about her life among the Inuit people [it's the anthropologist in me, y'know ]. I'll just be sure to bundle up in my thermal underwear, sweats, and down-filled ski jacket while reading. Brrrrrr!!!

Hey there. Thanks for another fine chapter. I'm really liking this story.

Sis seemed to have been left behind but why do I get the feeling she shows up at the last minute to take care of Bill? Have I seen too many horror movies or something?

It's too bad about Bill. I can't help feel like he's mentally ill and might still be saved from himself. His behavior to his daughter is inexcusable but I can't believe any sane person could do what he did to her. *sigh*

I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out. You left a bit of a cliffhanger but I've seen worse. Thanks again.

I really like this one. Although I did grow up in Point Barrow so I think I lived a little north of where this story takes place [hehe]. Have you thought, given the culture of your characters, of using a raven MORF for any of your characters? Most cultures above the Arctic Cirlcle place great wisdom and cunning in the raven. Some cultures even beleive ravens are spirits of people who have died.

In the winter, if not using snow mobiles, it's easier to use tracked Four-wheelers or Argos . Instead of tires there are 4 sets of tracks [four wheelers] or 6 to 8 tires [argo]. The argo will also let you travel across open water [which you can also do if you go really fast on a four-wheeler, but you can't stop hehe]

That was so sweet. I was so sad when Beth left Sis behind. But then Sis showed up at camp! Hurray!

Learning about and using her powers is promising to get interesting. I can't wait to see more. I just hope she doesn't accidently hurt someone, not even her stupid father.

Thanks and please keep up the good work. I'll be waiting.
