This a great story that kicks off a great universe, but I just thought that I'd let the author know that I came here from FictionMania because I wanted to read the last part, which doesn't seem to be on there. Even though this website was a great find, I'm still kind of annoyed that I had to leave FictionMania just to Google part 10.

I really like the sites dealing with MORFS. This one with the stories, the wiki site for I am an amateur writer, but I really started with storiesonline.net with it's MORFS Universe. Some of the stories are not on this site like Paws and Effect.
I would like to see an e-mail address for authors to give personal comments to them or if not then an e-mail address so my comments can be passed on. I am not saying that this is not good but it is sometimes to open for what we want to say to those authors.

Terrific story! I really like the MORFS universe. I have read a few other stories and I really enjoyed reading the very first MORFS story. This universe is very original and offers loads of possibilties. Thank you!

I was directed to the MORFs stories via Spphire's Place - very interesting - reminds me of Morpheus's Twisted/Burke's Virus stories - I plan on reading more.
The last person to post that rewrote the picnic scene - I prefer that - it is quite right , they were being horribly insensitive to Logan's pain and maybe this could be addressed in sequels or another story - I should hate for Sanura and Logan to hate one another due to circumstances beyond their control. The whole story did feel rather rushed - I would have liked for a bit more time spent on the adjustment - am I to understand that MORF affects a person mentally as well as physically as Sanura very quickly becomes totally feminine. Also dumping Colin just so we could have a juicy lesbian affair felt a bit off to me - what is so wrong about her having natural girl feelings for a guy? - I expected for it to turn out to be inadvertent mind control on Amy's part but if they are happy together what the heck, more power to them.

An intriguing concept and a worthy introduction to what looks like a fun new universe.

I feel the overpowering need to rewrite a small bit of this story or, in other words, to straighten a kink in Sanra's Tail. The scene is the picnic in part 8. Logan has just been smacked hard in the groin by a pointy football thrown in a hard pass. For those of you who do not know or may have forgotten, this produces excruciating pain at least, and can result in lasting injury. Far from showing any concern or offering any help, the other guys in the game laugh at Logan. Everyone, however, is running to help his empathically linked sister who, though uninjured, is experiencing Logan's pain in her groin, too. Sanura continues to narrate her story.

---

She was no longer grunting or gasping for breath, “Dad, Logan’s … hurt. I can feel it.”

“Honey, it’s going to be alright, it was just an accident.” Laura sat up as Logan walked slowly up to picnic area.

“It’s going away. I’ll be fine, too,” she said, wiping away the tears in her eyes. “Who threw that ball? That seriously hurt. I didn’t think I’d ever feel that pain again though.”

~~~
The guys had resumed their game, but Logan was now sitting out at the sidelines with us. He and Laura seemed to be doing better. Laura was busy fixing her makeup after wiping off the tear-streaked stuff she had been left with.
“You know, you do really do look alike, now that I’ve seen Laura without her makeup. Hey, Logan, if you grew your hair out and let Laura do your makeup, you two could pass for sisters,” I laughed.
Logan grimaced, and clenched his hand into a fist.
“Logan, don’t you dare,” said Laura without even looking up.
“But…”
“But nothing! She was just joking around and you do ‘not’ hit girls,” said Laura.
Logan unclenched his fist, shook out his hand, and looked at me with a smirk. 'Of course, only a joke! I can get into the spirit. Tell you what, you do my makeup and I'll set up your litter box. Better yet, I'll get you one of those special toilet seats. I'm sure that someone at the pet store can tell me how to train you to use it.'
“Excuse me? What exactly is your problem?” I asked.
'Problem?' he asked, with a melodramatic shocked expression and a disingenuous hand over his heart. 'What problem? We're just joking around, aren't we?'
'Oh, we are, huh? So I said you look like your sister, big deal. By the way, your Mom told us how you had your period two weeks ago. How did that feel?”
Logan glared at me for a moment, dropped his eyes, and shook his head in dismay. Quietly, he said, 'yeah, that's us, all right. I get to have cramps when she has her period, and she gets doubled over when I catch a football in my groin.'
I was beginning to feel some sympathy for him, when he looked at me again with grim determination. 'What hurts a lot more than that, though, is loosing Jason. I don't see him around here, any more. I don't suppose there will even be a memorial service for him.
'Congratulations, Nura, on getting used to your morf. You're all girl now,' he sneered, 'including the part of never missing the chance to make fun of boys and call them girls. Even if you didn't notice, I'm still a boy, and I don't wear makeup or have periods!
'I've lost Jason, and you've got Laura. We're both trying to deal with our morf, but you help Laura and make fun of me! You girls sure do stick together, don't you?' he said with disgust. 'You're a natural, now, y'know: cat girl, with catty comments! Maybe I should get an extra big litter box for BOTH of you to play in!'
Laura tried to slap him hard in the face, but he caught her hand. Maybe he felt it coming through their empathic link. ''You do not hit girls,' huh?' he sneered, 'but it's okay to do anything you want to a boy, isn't it?'
Logan dropped her hand and quickly stood up. Looking down at us, he said 'I know it's hard for Laura, she has all my memories, and I can feel everything she feels through the link. It's hard for me too! But now, everything's all about Laura. She chips a nail, and everyone's all worried. When *I* get hurt, everyone runs to help *her* and they just laugh at me. When she has her period, I get cramps too, but I'm supposed to 'suck it up and be a man' while everyone just makes fun. No one *cares* about me any more, and I'm just sick of it!' With that, he spun on his heel and stormed off toward the grove of trees across the park.
